This policy explains the types of cookies used on allinn.agency, their purposes, retention periods, and how you can manage your preferences. It is prepared in line with the ePrivacy Directive, the GDPR, and applicable Turkish legislation.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device via your browser when you visit a website. They keep the site functioning properly, remember your preferences, and provide usage statistics to the site owner.
2. Cookie Categories We Use
Necessary Cookies
Required for the site's core functions: session management (chatbot step state), security, storing your cookie choices, and recognizing your visitor identity. The site cannot work as requested without them; they cannot be switched off and do not require consent.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie (PHP session) | Step-by-step progress of the chatbot conversation | Session |
| Visitor ID | Remembering your anonymous visitor code (allinn-XXXXXXXX) | 1 year |
| Consent record | Storing the preferences you have given | 12 months |
Analytics Cookies (consent-based)
These allow us to measure statistics such as visit counts, pages viewed, and time spent on the site — anonymously. The data is used to improve the site and does not directly identify you. They are never loaded without your consent.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Analytics measurement cookies | Anonymous traffic statistics | Up to 13 months |
Marketing Cookies (consent-based)
Used to show you personalized content and ads, and for retargeting. No marketing or retargeting script is loaded without your consent.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Marketing/advertising cookies | Personalized ad delivery | Up to 12 months |
3. Consent Management (Consent Mode)
- On your first visit, a cookie banner is shown and your preference is requested.
- You can choose "Accept All", "Reject", or "Manage Preferences".
- Your choice is recorded via our `/api/consent` endpoint: your IP address is stored only as a salted SHA-256 hash, never in plain form.
- Our site is compatible with Google Consent Mode v2 signals: analytics and marketing tags are activated only when the relevant consent is given; without consent, these tags never load at all.
- You can change or withdraw your preferences at any time via the cookie settings link on the page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
4. Browser Controls
You can also manage, delete, or block cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site (such as the chatbot) from working properly.
5. Third-Party Cookies
When you give analytics or marketing consent, cookies from the relevant service providers (e.g. measurement tools) may be placed on your device. These providers process data under their own privacy policies. No third-party cookies are loaded while you have not given consent.
6. Policy Updates
This policy is updated as the cookies we use or the legislation changes. The current version is always published on this page; for significant changes, your consent may be requested again via the banner.
